With over 30years experience creating perfect party atmospheres across the UK, inSESSION have a rich history of keeping crowds dancing long past their supposed bedtimes. The band's extensive repertoire of hits from the 50’s right up to the present day, will guarantee a great night's entertainment for every audience, every age, and every occasion.
Success for inSESSION first came in the mid 1990s when the band was rewarded with first place in the televised Windsor & Eton's Entertainer of the Year Competition, followed by placing in the top 10 of over 2000 entries in the Yamaha sponsored 'Best New Band' contest (covered on BBC radio 1). Since then, the band has played thousands of events across the country, at venues such as Blenheim Palace, Twickenham Stadium, The Gherkin, Kempton Park Races, and The Kensington Roof Gardens, alongside such high profile acts such as The Commitments, Geno Washington, The Bootleg Beatles, Bjorn Again, Edwin Starr, and many others.
inSESSION are made up of highly experienced and versatile professional musicians. Between them, they have played such prestigious venues as The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Shepherds Bush Empire, Ronnie Scotts, The Jazz Cafe and Disneyland Paris.
Members also have a wealth of experience performing in various London musicals, in ski resorts across the south of France, as well as being a part of huge events like the London Paralympics in 2012, and performing for the troops all over the world, in places like Afghanistan, Chile, Oman, Bahrain, Dubai, Germany and Brunei.
They have also played and recorded with many of UK’s top Session Musicians, including members of prominent chart acts such as The Feeling, Take That, ELO, 10cc, Peter Gabriel, Doctor Hook and Spandau Ballet.
Some members of the band have had great success with their own music gaining BBC radio airplay, touring the US, Australia, and most of Europe, and playing some of the biggest festivals in the world.
The Band consists of 2 Lead Vocalists, Guitar, Bass, Keyboards and Drums, with everyone contributing Vocal Harmonies. Depending on the nature of your event, we can readily extend that line up with extra Brass Players or Vocalists.
We are also very experienced providing further live music options for the daytime or early evening, tailored to what your event may require. One of our most popular options being our Acoustic Duo or Trio, which is perfect for ceremonies and drinks receptions.
A great playlist of tunes are provided whilst the band is not performing, this can readily be upgraded to a more comprehensive DJ service.
